The North East Recorder Orchestra is performing at Humshaugh Village Hall tomorrow afternoon (Saturday March 4th). You can get your tickets from the shop. The concert begins at 2.30 and, during the interval, tea and cakes will be served. The orchestra performs with a huge range of recorders in all sorts of shapes and sizes, not just the regular descant size that we all remember from our schooldays.
There will also be a photographic exhibition featuring images of local musicians.
Tickets are £5 (£2.50 for children). Tea or coffee and cake costs just £1.50. Tickets can also be bought on the door.
The event has been organised by HAP, the Humshaugh Arts Programme.
